From 27 February to 1 March 2026, a vibrant Art Therapy Workshop was organized during the annual Flower Show and Food Festival at Golf Link, Ghaziabad. Hosted by the Horticulture Floriculture Society, the workshop created a lively creative space where children and young participants could explore art while enjoying the colorful festival atmosphere.

The initiative was designed to promote mindfulness, creativity, and digital detox, encouraging children to step away from screens and reconnect with hands-on artistic expression. Surrounded by blooming flowers and festive energy, participants experienced how art can serve as a powerful medium for relaxation, self-expression, and community bonding.

Workshop Activities

The Art Therapy Workshop featured a variety of engaging activities tailored for different age groups:

Poster Making Competition – “Vande Mataram” Theme
Participants expressed creativity through poster art inspired by the theme Vande Mataram. The activity encouraged young artists to combine artistic imagination with cultural pride.

Quiz Competition
An interactive quiz added an element of learning and excitement. Winners were rewarded with Mandala art books and A4 registers, motivating students to continue creative exploration beyond the workshop.

Art Workshop Participation Kits
All participants received Art Files and Colour Kits, ensuring every child had the tools to express their ideas and continue practicing art at home.

Wall Painting & Doodling Zone
A large wall painting space allowed younger children to experiment freely with doodles, colors, and spontaneous creativity, making it one of the most joyful and interactive parts of the workshop.

Canvas Painting
For elder students, canvas painting session provided an opportunity to work on structured artwork and explore more advanced artistic techniques.
