A total of 103 participants took the R2E Pledge<\/strong>, committing to collect and recycle their used paper, notebooks and other paper scrap. As part of the exchange programme, participants received notebooks, registers and stationery, connecting environmental responsibility with meaningful educational resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop also encouraged active student participation through a dedicated volunteer team. Student volunteers supported the collection, weighing, sorting and record-keeping processes, gaining practical experience in teamwork, organization, and resource management. Their active contribution was appreciated with A4 registers as a token of recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Pledge to Continuous Action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

R2E Recycling 2 Education is envisioned as a continuous school-community engagement programme<\/strong>, extending beyond a single workshop. Students will be encouraged to collect and segregate used paper, notebooks and registers throughout the academic session and participate in periodic collection and exchange drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The R2E Pledge serves as the foundation for building this ongoing practice, while The Notebook Project provides an educational exchange opportunity for participants. Through continued student involvement, volunteer teams and school coordination, the programme aims to establish responsible paper recycling as a regular school activity and encourage the wider school community to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
