The program aimed to promote sustainable practices, encourage healthy learning habits, and strengthen students\u2019 connection with handwriting and creative writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop focused on interaction and awareness sessions with students, highlighting the significance of <em>The Notebook Project<\/em>. Students were sensitized about the importance of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More handwriting practice to improve learning and memory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital detox<\/strong> through reduced screen time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging the use of more writing aids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding recycling and sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adopting a Zero Waste model within the school ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The interactive discussions helped students understand how simple actions, like recycling paper and notebooks, can create a meaningful impact on the environment and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Phases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative was implemented in a structured manner through multiple phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Interaction &amp; Awareness:<\/strong> 26 September<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Display &amp; Information:<\/strong> 25 October<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collection Drive:<\/strong> 29 October<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Distribution Drive:<\/strong> 14 November<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The collection drive was efficiently coordinated by the Eco Club students, who played a crucial role in mobilizing peers, collecting used notebooks and paper, and supporting the sustainability goals of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Participation &amp; Impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students across all classes actively participated with enthusiasm, making the workshop both impactful and engaging. The program not only reinforced environmental responsibility but also encouraged students to move towards mindful learning practices with less dependency on digital devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the volunteers received an R2E Kit as a token of appreciation for their active participation and dedicated support throughout the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acknowledgement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our <strong>special thanks to Ms. Hema Arora, Principal Ma\u2019am<\/strong>, for her constant encouragement and leadership in motivating the entire school community to actively participate in the <strong>R2E \u2013 Recycling 2 Education workshop<\/strong>.
