The Notebook Project<\/strong> was successfully conducted at DAV Police Public School with the enthusiastic participation of 260 students from Nursery to Class XII<\/strong>. This marked the second workshop<\/strong> in the school, effectively coordinated and managed by the Eco Club<\/strong>, further strengthening the school\u2019s commitment to sustainability and responsible practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative encouraged students to actively participate in a paper scrap collection and exchange program<\/strong>, fostering awareness about recycling and waste management. An element of healthy competition<\/strong> was introduced among classes to achieve maximum participation, which significantly enhanced student engagement. Classes II Robin, IX A, and III Jaguar<\/strong> emerged as the winning classes with the highest participation, and their class teachers were recognized and appreciated for their efforts in motivating students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual contributions were also acknowledged, with Yash (Class III Jaguar), Avni (Class VII A), Dushyant (Class IX B), and Hargun (Class X B)<\/strong> being recognized and rewarded for contributing the maximum paper scrap<\/strong>. The Eco Club volunteer team<\/strong> played a vital role in the smooth execution of the workshop and was appreciated with certificates for their dedication and active involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special acknowledgement was extended to the Eco Club teachers \u2014 Ms. Deepika Arora, Ms. Kusum, Ms. Reena Pawar, Ms. Preeti Jadon, and Ms. Tanushree<\/strong> \u2014 for their consistent guidance, coordination, and efforts in successfully organizing and managing the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact Assessment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Notebook Project created a strong educational and environmental impact<\/strong> by providing students with a practical platform to understand and implement sustainability concepts. The initiative is aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP)<\/strong> and the Green School Initiative<\/strong>, promoting experiential and value-based learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through active participation, students developed a deeper understanding of waste management, recycling, and upcycling<\/strong>, and began to view waste as a valuable resource. The competitive element among classes encouraged higher involvement and teamwork, while also instilling a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
