As part of the Green School Initiative, a Zero Waste Model Drive was conducted at BVB MV, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, on 25 September 2026 under the flagship initiative अपशिष्ट पुनः चक्रण.

During the drive, 1,000 kg of paper scrap was collected and exchanged for 70 packets of premium quality copier paper, promoting the responsible use and recycling of paper resources.

The Zero Waste Model encourages schools to adopt practical waste-management practices by exchanging recyclable paper waste for useful paper products. It aims to promote resource conservation and strengthen sustainable habits within the school ecosystem.
Impact
The initiative supports the reduction of paper waste, encourages responsible resource utilisation, and provides a practical model for sustainable waste management. Such efforts help create greater awareness and participation in environmental practices across the school community.
Continued Commitment
The continued efforts of the school management and BVB MV team reflect their commitment to sustainability and responsible recycling. Their consistent support of such initiatives contributes to building a stronger culture of environmental responsibility within the school.
