To mark the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August 2025, अथक प्रयास सतत् विकास successfully organized an R2E – Recycling 2 Education Workshop at Paramount Floraville, Sector 137, Noida. The event brought together creativity, learning, and sustainability, offering young learners a meaningful way to celebrate freedom beyond screens.
The workshop featured two key initiatives — The Notebook Project and Art Therapy Activities — both designed to encourage handwriting practice, digital detox, creative expression, and mindfulness among students. Around 115 participants enthusiastically took part in the activities, making the event vibrant and joyful.
Activities Conducted
Students engaged in a wide range of creative and expressive activities, including:
- Poster Making
- Drawing and Colouring
- Painting
- Quilling
- Card Making
- Bookmark Making
An Art Competition on Poster Making, based on the theme of Independence Day, was also conducted. To recognize creativity and effort, 9 rewards were presented to the top three performers across three age groups — Junior, Middle, and Senior.
The Notebook Project
As part of The Notebook Project, many participants brought paper scrap and exchanged it for new writing aids, such as notebooks and registers. This initiative aimed to promote sustainable practices, encourage daily writing habits, and reduce dependence on digital devices.
To further motivate students, each participant received an Art File and a Colour Set as a participatory gift, reinforcing the value of creativity and mindful learning.
Impact and Acknowledgement
The event was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by students and parents alike. It highlighted how simple initiatives like writing, drawing, and mindful creativity can help young learners develop focus, confidence, and healthy learning habits.
