On the occasion of World Art Day, an engaging and enriching Art Workshop was conducted at Primary School, Sihani, Ghaziabad, with the enthusiastic participation of 120 students. The workshop aimed to promote the values of digital detox, mindfulness, and cognitive development through art and creative expression.

A special highlight of the workshop was the introduction to Mandala Art, which many students experienced for the first time. With great curiosity and excitement, participants engaged in the activity, learning the importance of patience, focus, and symmetry.

The workshop also emphasized mindfulness practices, helping students stay present and channel their thoughts into meaningful artistic creations. Through guided activities, students learned how art can be a powerful tool to relax the mind, improve concentration, and enhance emotional well-being.
Learning Outcomes:
- Developed focus, patience, and attention to detail through Mandala Art
- Encouraged creativity and self-expression in a non-digital environment
- Promoted mindfulness and stress relief through structured art activities
- Enhanced fine motor skills and cognitive abilities
Distribution of Learning Materials:
To further reinforce the concept of digital detox and encourage writing habits at home, students were provided with art materials, sketchbooks, color books, and notebooks under the Recycling 2 Education initiative. This thoughtful distribution aimed to motivate students to engage in creative activities and develop regular handwriting practice beyond the classroom and reduce their screen time.
The event was made even more special with the gracious support and active participation of Ms. Preeti Saxena, Principal Ma’am and Mr. Devendra sir, whose encouragement inspired both students and organizers.
Overall, the workshop was a meaningful step towards nurturing creativity, promoting a balanced lifestyle, and reinforcing the importance of digital detox and mindfulness among young students.
