R2E Art Workshop & Recycling 2 Education Pledge at Chahal Welfare Society

On 23 December, Chahal Welfare Society, East Vinod Nagar, in collaboration with अथक् प्रयास सतत् विकास, successfully organized a combined R2E Art Workshop and R2E Recycling 2 Education Pledge Program. The program engaged 40 participants from mixed age groups and created a joyful learning environment rooted in creativity, sustainability, and social responsibility.

About the Program

The initiative aimed to encourage creative expression, promote digital detox, and build awareness about recycling and sustainable education. Through hands-on art activities and meaningful interactions, children were motivated to reduce screen time and adopt creative, mindful hobbies.

Art Workshop Highlights

The art workshop included multiple engaging activities such as:

  • Colouring, Drawing, and Painting
  • Hand Print Christmas Tree Activity
  • Photo Frame Making

Children enthusiastically participated and expressed their creativity using colours, textures, and innovative ideas. Art materials such as colouring sheets, drawing papers, colours, and craft supplies were provided to support these activities.

As part of registration and participation gifts, students received:

  • Art File
  • Crayons, sketch pens, or tempera colours
  • Christmas-themed colouring worksheets

Special appreciation and recognition were given to Rohan for his keen interest and exceptional talent in art. His artwork stood out for its creativity and effort, and he was rewarded with a sketchbook and HB pencil set.

R2E Recycling 2 Education Pledge

Alongside the art workshop, an R2E Recycling 2 Education Pledge session was conducted. The session included:

  • Talk and interaction on the importance of recycling
  • Explanation of the R2E concept
  • Participant registration

  • Encouraged children to adopt creative hobbies as an alternative to screen time.
