Zero Waste Drive at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya – 2 January 2026

On 2 January 2026, a successful Zero Waste Drive was conducted at BVB MV School under our Zero Waste Model Program. The initiative marked another milestone in our ongoing collaboration with the school, reinforcing its strong commitment toward sustainability and responsible resource management.

300 Kgs Paper Scrap Exchanged

During the drive, 300 kilograms of paper scrap were collected and responsibly exchanged for premium paper stationery, including high-quality photocopier paper.

This exchange model not only ensured proper recycling but also returned value to the school in the form of useful academic resources.

Third Successful Drive with BVB MV

This was the third successful Zero Waste Drive conducted with BVB MV School. The continued participation reflects the school’s structured approach toward waste segregation and environmental responsibility.

Each drive strengthens the culture of recycling among students and staff while reducing the overall paper waste generated on campus.

Special Acknowledgment

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Deepti for her dedicated coordination and seamless execution of the drive. Her support played a key role in making the initiative organized and impactful.

Impact of the Zero Waste Model

The Zero Waste Model Program focuses on:

  • Promoting systematic waste segregation
  • Encouraging recycling and upcycling practices
  • Reducing landfill waste
  • Creating environmental awareness among students

Commitment Towards Sustainability

BVB MV School continues to set a strong example by integrating sustainability into its school culture. Regular drives like this demonstrate long-term commitment rather than one-time participation.

We appreciate the proactive approach of the school community and look forward to many more impactful collaborations ahead.

Together, we are turning waste into resources and building responsible future citizens.
