Independence Day Celebration at Sundar Kand Park, Sector 85, Faridabad

On 15 August, an Independence Day celebration was organised at Sundar Kand Park, Sector 85, Faridabad, from 9:30 AM onwards, bringing together students and community members to celebrate the spirit of freedom and togetherness.

The event saw the participation of 30 students, who actively engaged in a range of creative and cultural activities, including poster making, speeches, singing, dancing, and flag hoisting. The activities provided students with an opportunity to express their creativity, build confidence, and celebrate Independence Day in a meaningful way.

A key focus of the celebration was to encourage community engagement and meaningful offline participation. By involving students in creative, interactive activities away from digital devices, the event promoted mindfulness, creativity, social interaction, and the importance of spending quality time in offline activities.

As a gesture of appreciation and encouragement, all participating students received an Art File, A4 Spiral Register, and Colour Kit as participation rewards for their enthusiasm and active involvement.

We extend our special thanks to Mr. Dubey Sir and Ms. Priya Dubey Ma’am for organising the event and creating a wonderful platform for students to come together, participate, and celebrate the spirit of Independence Day.

The celebration was a joyful reminder that freedom is also about making time for creativity, community, and meaningful experiences beyond screens.
